History
The Acinipo Health Resort with Finca ‘Haza Angosta’ is located in the Andalusia region of southern Spain, within view of Ronda. The Resort is located about 50 kilometres inland from the Costa del Sol and Marbella. The estate was purchased in 2006, with the aim of being able to demonstrate health to the ill.
The Finca is situated in the middle of a 30-hectare country estate, at 850 metres above sea level. The 360-degree panoramic views over Ronda and Ariatte are spectacular. The white village and nature reserve of Grazalema can be seen in the distance, along with the amphitheatre of the 2000-year old Roman city of Acinipo, the namesake of our health project.
The estate is surrounded by olive trees, holly oaks, fig trees and almond trees. It is a relatively long plot of land, the first section (10 hectares) of which is located along a country lane (through road) with a relatively flat landscape. In the middle of the estate is a hilltop with panoramic views. The remainder of the estate is fully enclosed by characteristic Spanish walls and is located on a south-facing slope. The Finca is located in the middle of this section, and an old ruin with a water reservoir system can be found on a plateau section lower down.
The Acinipo Health Resort is a place where both natural and spiritual backgrounds come together.
